As an Afro-Caribbean writer of poetry I aim to create a perspective that gives insights to my roots and is relatable to you, the reader.

CARIBBEAN ENGLISH
This is a poetic look at 2020, how i've seen it and experienced it. How it's felt to live in a most turbulent year from start to finish.

The year 2020 was to be full of brand new beginnings and adventures for me, Dyamund D, but instead it started off with many unexpected changes and yet there was a poetic rhythm that I aimed to capture here.
​
This book of momentous and possibly uneventful poems - we'll only know what kind of content will be inside by how the rest of 2020 decides to show itself - will be available in 2021. After the 31st of December gives us a so called fresh start.

I think 2020 is definitely a year worth taking note in an artistic way and I hope you'll enjoy my Afro Caribbean musings once complete.
LOVE OVER LIFE
As you can imagine from the title, this is a book of love poems.
​
This will be a book revealing love lost and found throughout my life, written in a dynamic way. Using similar Dyamund D style of writing to my first published book, there are twists, euphemisms and illustrations depicting real life experiences and my vivid imagination inspired by crushes from youth through to adulthood.

Love poetry for me is an interesting genre, but one I have always dabbled in. I feel now is the time to really explore it and express the love that I have felt and experienced. Whether unrequited, reciprocated or it was just pure fantasy of the heart.
